50th Anniversary of the Donauschwaben in Cleveland:  The DGACC will be celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Donauschwaben in Cleveland during the fall of 2008.  In preparation, we're looking for documentation, pictures, movies, or any manner of memorabilia from the history of our club.

Analog Pictures / Analog Video: Unluckily, neither the DGACC office staff, nor the web curators have the resources to scan in or convert this form of content.  It is our hope that some other member, or group of members step forward that has both the knowledge and resources to assist us with this. 

Digital Pictures:  Today's digital cameras create image data files that far exceed the quality needed to post on a web site.  Emailing reduced quality picture files for posting to the web is greatly appreciated.  However, in terms of cataloging your content for posterity, we ask that you also provide full quality copies of your images.  This would probably be best accomplished by getting a CD copy into the hands of our office staff.

Digital Video:  Digital video is huge in comparison to even the highest quality digital images.  Presently, it is not possible to transfer this electronically.  Both raw or edited video footage would need to be submitted to us via CD or DVD and handed in to the office staff.

Slides / Super 8 Movies / etc.: Slides, Super 8 movies, etc. fall under the same category as analog pictures and video.  We simply don't have the resources to convert these formats.  Again, we hope someone steps forward to catalog this media format for posterity's sake.
